First two Kilbirnie Murals complete

As part of a beautification project for Kilbirnie, we commissioned artist David E Brown to paint two murals - entitled "Cause and Effect" one at either end of the shopping centre and we are very excited with the result.

David was inspired by the seismic history of the local terrain and how influential this now is to the settlement of Kilbirnie, with the creation of the Miramar Peninsular. David says: “The colour choice of purple / blue and green is in consideration of the environment before it changes. Symbolically they stand in for the possible flora and fauna. The black and white is used to control this relationship, and to create a dynamic artwork, that is part painting and part sculpture”.
